TIP 1: What to Clean With
We like using Dawn Power Wash — it’s probably the safest option and the most readily available. Oil Eater degreaser also works amazing; you can usually find it at Costco. Spray it on, let it foam and soak, then use a toothbrush to work it into the grease, dirt, and oil. This method cleans without removing paint or decals.
TIP 2: Drying & Finishing
After scrubbing, give the body a bath to rinse it off, then pat it dry. A can of compressed air (like keyboard cleaner) works great for getting into all the nooks and crannies. Once it’s dry, you shouldn’t see any leftover film — it should feel genuinely clean.
TIP 3: Bonus Tip
If you want a clean track, you can spray the Oil eater onto a lint-free towel and wipe down the track. Avoid spraying it directly onto the track.
