Bandit Series Motors — High Performance AFX Mega G+ Upgrade

The Bandit series is engineered specifically for the AFX Mega G+ platform, built for racers who’ve outgrown what the stock motor can deliver.

MG+ Stage 2 Bandit Series Motor – Super Stock

The Stage 2 Bandit is where real performance starts. At 30,000 RPM, it’s a clear step up from the stock motors other manufacturers put in their cars. It gives you noticeably more speed while keeping the car smooth and easy to drive. It’s the right motor for racers ready to move past stock who want a reliable, competitive upgrade.

It installs right out of the package, with no soldering and no extra prep.

Each motor comes with 1x 7T Mega G+ / Lifelike “T” Pinion Gear

Every Bandit motor features:

  • Polymer magnets for consistent, reliable power delivery
  • High-temp commutator built to hold up under sustained high-performance running without breaking down
  • Hysol-coated armature blank for added durability and protection under load
  • High-performance Oilite bushings for smoother, longer-lasting rotation than stock bushings
  • Gold-plated hangers for superior conductivity and long-term durability over stock contacts
  • Laser-etched Viper logo and specs on the can — no fading, no rub-off, permanent identification for tech inspection and pit organization
  • PCB delete — stock Mega G+ motors carry an onboard PCB with resistors and components designed for low-voltage, low-performance operation. The Bandit strips this out entirely, giving you a direct, unrestricted electrical path built for real power delivery instead of factory-limited output.

The Bandit series is available across five power levels — Stage 1 through Stage 5 — so whether you’re taking your first step up from stock or chasing the top of the class, there’s a Bandit built for where you’re racing. Stage 1 is built to match the performance of a stock AFX green-can motor, making it the natural starting point for racers moving up from a fully stock setup — while still carrying every Bandit-series upgrade (polymer mags, high-temp com, Hysol coating, Oilite bushings, gold hangers, laser ID, PCB delete) that the stock red can never had.

Finding the RPM on your motor: Every Bandit motor has its RPM laser-etched right on the can, but it can be tough to spot in person. For the best view, shine a flashlight on the can in a darker room and slowly tilt the motor at different angles. The RPM will catch the light and show up clearly.
